Fingerprinting

Yale Public Safety provides electronic fingerprinting services free of charge to any Yale Student, Staff, or Faculty members only. Requestors must supply their own fingerprint cards. Electronic fingerprinting services are available at the Central ID Center by appointment only. Book an appointment online using the link below.

You must supply two forms of government issued ID for proof of identity.

If you are unable to make these times, the New Haven Police Department also provides fingerprint services. They charge $25 and do not require an appointment. Currently, they are available for fingerprints Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. These hours are subject to change.
